End of Week Seventeen – 17 November
2kg (4.4 lbs) weight loss

23.2kg (51.1 lbs / 3st 9.1lbs)

That’s 21.1% of my starting body weight
Muscle Mass increased to 74.0%
Fat Mass dropping to 22.1%

So, another consistent and successful week.

Following a strained calf muscle, last Friday was a very cautious return to the treadmill.

On Saturday, ParkRun #4 was another cautious outing for the calf. Unfortunately, jogging was a non-starter with the calf screaming “not today” when I went to put my right foot forward. No PB this time around, but I still managed to beat my #1 ParkRun time by a considerable margin.

Sunday evening and back in the gym and back on the treadmill again. Now pushing the duration and the pace throughout the week, with treadmill on the training schedule every day except Saturday. Two great sessions with Matty the PT on Tuesday (he destoyed my legs) and Thursday (he destroyed my arms).

A good week for steps too… an average of over 12000 steps per day and in the top 4% across Samsung Health users 🙂

There were also a couple of milestones… Tuesday saw me reach a 20% bodyweight reduction when I hit 22kg of weight loss. Then on Wednesday I hit 22.4kg which translated to 3st 7lbs.

Body Composition

Key metrics (muscle mass, fat mass, lean mass, visceral fat index and water mass) all continue to track in the right direction.

  • 6 Treadmill sessions
  • 2 Matty the PT sessions
  • 8 Saunas
  • 17 Cold showers

Back to ParkRun tomorrow. It will be my fifth.

Mark is absolutely killing it. He is discovering a better version of himself every single day. That’s a better version physically, mentally, and emotionally.

His consistency and determination is absolutely incredible!
