This evening it’s another new Scott Baptie Food for Fitness Recipe, taking his Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Tenders to a whole new level.

Chicken breasts, breadcrumbs, egg, lemon juice, honey, olive oil, chilli flakes, mixed herbs, salt and pepper are all you need for this zingy dish.

Slice the chicken in chunky strips, dip in the beaten egg and then cover in breadcrumbs.

Place in the air fryer for 15-20 mins at 180C.

Whilst the chicken is cooking, prepare the glaze.

Put the lemon juice (60ml), honey (30g), olive oil (30ml), chilli flakes (1tsp), mixed herbs (1tsp), salt (¹/2tsp), black pepper and water (30ml) into a bowl and mixed well.

When the chicken is nearly done, transfer the glaze to a frying pan and heat on a medium heat, stirring continuously, until it starts to thicken.

Once the chicken is cooked, transfer to the frying pan and cover with the glaze.
