End of Week Thirty Three – 8 March
1.1kg (2.4lb) weight loss

38.7kg (85.3lb / 6st 1.3lb)

Current weight – 71.2kg (11st 3lb)

Target weight – 69.9kg (11st)
1.3kg (2.9lb) to reach target

That’s a reduction of 35.2% of my starting body weight.
Muscle Mass and Fat Mass stable at 84.7% and 10.8% respectively.
Lean Mass stable at 89.1%.

No JD Burn or Abs classes at JD today as Matty the PT was feeling unwell, but I did put in a 5K row at Ribby Hall Health Club followed by the usual R&R in the sauna, steam rooms and spa pool, and a top-up of my pre-holiday tan at Tanners FY5.

Now with four personal training sessions per week, it was Upper Body/Strength Training day at Ribby Hall – Rowing (warm-up), bench press, cable chest fly, lat pull down, face pull/shoulder press superset, cable bicep curls

More time in the sauna and spa pool followed and another few minutes on the sun bed at Tanners FY5.

Sunday, apparently is the “day of rest”… well this was an active rest day for me incorporating another trip to Ribby Hall for another 5K row. The “rest” followed in the spa pool and sauna ๐Ÿ™‚

A 12 noon training session – Pull day at Ribby Hall – Rowing machine (warm-up), bench press, chest press, SkiErg/Press-Up superset, cable chest fly, two arm cable lateral raises, core (russian twists/crunches), followed by Sauna, steam room and spa pool. On the way back home I stopped off at Tanners FY5 for a sun shower – like a sunbed except you stand up ๐Ÿ™‚

A visit to JD in Thornton-Cleveleys later in the evening for a 5K row

A 1pm training session, again at Ribby Hall – Leg day – Rowing machine (warm-up), Barbell squat 10x40kg, 10x45kg, 2x10x50kg, 40kg amrap, 100 x weighted lunges (28kg), Leg press, hyperextensions, leg curl, core (russian twists, planks). And, you guessed it, more time in the sauna, steam room and spa pool!

I’m now trying to incoporate a 5K row every day regardless of other training sessions, so it was back to JD for a rowing session on their Concept RowErg machines, followed by a sauna to end the day.

An afternoon appointment for a haircut at Parlour Male Grooming, Kirkham, and then nip into Ribby Hall for a 5K row and more time in the sauna, steam rooms and spa pool. On the way back home, drop into Tanners FY5 for another sunbed session.

Today is also my first Six Months of Gym Life – since joining JD Gyms, Thornton-Cleveleys and six months since my journey with this guy started.

A morning training session at JD with Matt – Pull day – Bike (warm-up), Barbell row, TRX row/band-assisted pull-ups superset, SkiErg/kettlebell deadlift/ball slam superset, seated cable row, knee lat pull, bicep curl machine, followed by a sauna.

Then an evening visit to Ribby Hall for a 5K row. I can’t go to Ribby Hall and not use their spa facilities, so a sauna and spa pool followed.

A return to early morning JD Burn and Abs classes.

7am start with Burn: SkiErg, Dumbbell Snatch, Ball Slam, Russian Twists, Weighted Lunges, Shoulder Press, Weighted Step-Ups (3 sets of 50 seconds each with 10 seconds rest).

Abs Class followed: Flutter Kicks, Crunches, Situps, Shoulder Tap, Planks

Heading over to Ribby Hall late afternoon for a 5K row, sauna/spa pool and then a sunbed top-up at Tanners FY5.
