End of Week Twenty Eight – 2 February
0.9kg (2lb) weight loss
Total weight loss, to date
34.1kg (75.2lb / 5st 5.2lb)
Current weight – 75.8kg (11st 13.1lb)
That’s a reduction of 31.0% of my starting body weight.
Muscle Mass increased to 81.1% whilst Fat Mass decreased to 14.6%.
Lean Mass is now up to 85.4%.
And more milestones.
- Below 12 stone for the first time since I was in my early 20s
- Fitting into 30in waist jeans (was in 44-46in jeans back in July)
- Fitting into size S gym tops and shorts (started in 2XL in September)
FRIDAY – 26 January
RowErg (rowing machine) at JD Gym followed by the usual sauna and cold showers 🙂
SATURDAY – 27 January
Still on a break from ParkRun – RowErg at JD
I had ordered some 30in waist slim fit jeans in anticipation of needing them soon, having recently dropped down to 34in and then 32in a few weeks later. Today they arrived and… THEY FIT! Utterly crazy. Just over six months ago I was wearing 44-46in waist jeans!
SUNDAY – 28 January
A rowing session at JD in the evening.
MONDAY – 29 January
Personal training session with Matt the PT at JD Gym – PUSH DAY: Bench Press 50kg, SkiERG and push-ups superset, chest press, shoulder press, triceps. With a visit to the Health Club at Ribby Hall later in the day.
TUESDAY – 30 January
A new hair cut followed by Personal Trainer session at Ribby Hall – LEGS DAY: Rowing machine (warmup), Barbell squat 10x40kg 2x10x50kg, weighted lunges, leg press, hyperextensions, leg curl, steppers… again, followed by sauna, spa pool and steam room.
WEDNESDAY – 31 January
An early morning Rowing session at JD, with a later visit to the Health Club at Ribby Hall.
THURSDAY – 1 February
A very busy day of fitness and health related activity.
Sports Physio session with Andy the Therapist (60 mins) – Deep tissue: Arms, shoulders, back, legs
Followed by a Personal Training session with Matt at JD Gym – PULL DAY: SkiErg & kettlebell deadlift superset, barbell row 50kg, seated low row, assisted pullups, lat pull down, bicep curl machine, followed by a Sauna 🙂
This was my first training session in new Under Armour gym kit – SIZE SMALL (I started in 2XL just five months ago)
FRIDAY – 2 February
My (current) normal active rest day activity – a 5k row on the RowErg at JD Gym with a later visit to the Health Club at Ribby Hall.
